Nurse
As a school clinic, we are able to assess student complaints and treat based on our nursing assessment skills but do not have the ability to diagnose. If your child is sick or having repetitive issues please bring your child to the appropriate doctor to be seen. We monitor students who have been diagnosed with such things as diabetes, asthma, seizures, hemophilia or any other lifelong or acute disease.
Our goal is to keep students in class as much as possible so please educate your children about the following reasons to see the nurse in the clinic (fever, impact injury such as being hit by an object or person, bee sting, fall, throwing up, bleeding, scheduled medications, or lost a tooth).
Please feel free to contact us regarding any questions or concerns with your child.
Please familiarize yourself with the district policy regarding students and medication.
